Finding the perfect sanitary pad is all about balancing comfort, protection, affordability, and your daily lifestyle. Follow this guide to evaluate your period needs and choose the menstrual care option that keeps you confident throughout your cycle.
Assess Your Menstrual Flow
Monitor your bleeding changes from light to heavy days and select matching absorbencies.
Prioritise Comfort and Fit
Select the right shape and length so the pad stays securely in place without shifting.
Match Your Daily Routine
Choose practical options tailored to your schedule, whether attending school, working, or traveling.
Select Leakage Protection
Use longer pads or higher absorbencies for heavy days and overnight protection.
Compare Reusable vs Disposable
Evaluate purchase costs, sustainability, and health benefits like chemical-free reusable pads before deciding.
Do
- Change your sanitary pad regularly throughout the day to maintain hygiene.
- Choose chemical-free reusable pads if you want a healthy, cost-effective, and sustainable option.
- Use longer pads for extra coverage while sleeping or on heavy flow days.
- Follow the manufacturer's care and washing instructions for reusable products.
- Mix and match different products according to different days of your cycle.
Do not
- Do not wear a single pad for extended periods beyond recommended usage.
- Do not assume one size or absorbency level will fit every day of your period.
