Every Pad-Up product is built to be reused for a minimum of one year. That figure assumes it is washed the way it was designed to be washed. None of it is complicated, but two of the steps matter more than people expect.
Rinse first, in cold water
Rinse off the surface blood in cold water as soon as you can. Cold matters: hot water sets the stain rather than lifting it.
Soak for ten minutes
Soak in room-temperature water for about ten minutes. Detergent is optional at this stage.
Wash as normal
Wash by hand or in a machine with any soap or mild detergent, the same way you would wash clothing.
Dry completely
Hang under sunlight until fully dry. Sunlight is a natural disinfectant, and drying fully before reuse is what keeps the pad hygienic.
